Tio Reyes

Queremos informar a todos que ayer el primero de Noviembre (dia de todos los santos) nuestro Tio Reyes fallecio en su casa en Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Que bendicion que fue el mismo dia que celebramos el dia de los Santos porque nos recuerda que la muerte aunque sea dolorosa es una puerta a algo mejor. Por favor incluye a el en sus oraciones.

We would like to inform everyone that Marcela´s uncle, Reyes Maradiaga, died yesterday, November 1st (All Saints Day), in his house in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. What a blessing that his passing on occured on the same day as we celebrate all of the saints. It serves as a reminder that, even though it is painful, death is a door we must go through to get to a better place. Please include him in your daily prayers.

For those of you who do not know Reyes, he is the cousin of Marcela´s mother (which in Honduras still makes him Marcela´s uncle). He has had cancer for a while (two and a half years I think) and has had around 25 quimotherapies. He was a very nice man, a teacher, and an artist.
