1. Where/How did you meet? It was my birthday and i had invited Carol Restaine and some missioners from Mission Honduras to my birthday party (I was a volunteer at Mission Honduras). Carol told me that some new volunteers came that day and asked me if some of them could come to my party. I said OK and Adam was one of the new volnteers. We met there but all he said was "Happy Birthday" and that was all. It was Adam´s 2nd time at Mission Honduras. It was the end of May and he was going to stay until the first week of August of 2002. We spent some time at the mission but we didn´t really work together, he was coordinating volunteers and i was working with the girls.

2. How long have you known each other? 5 years

3. How long after you met did you start dating? 2 months later (July 28th 2002)

4. How long did you date before you were engaged? 2 1/2 years

5. How long was your engagement? 7 months

6. How long have you been married? 1 year 8 months

7. What is your anniversary? July 23rd

8. How many people came to your wedding reception? 230 people

9. What kind of cake did you serve? In Honduras the cake that the couple cuts it´s not real. Only the part you cut is real. The cake we cut and freezed for our anniversary was a regular vanilla cake. The cake we served was a nut cake covered with almond fondan (a type of icing)

10. Where was your wedding? Sagrada Familia Church in Comayagua, Honduras

11. What did you serve for your meal? Beef and chiken with mushroom sauce, rice, mash potatos, salad and bread

12.How many people were in your wedding party? IN Honduras we havea lot of people, 4 priests celebrated Mass, Adam´s family walked first , then my mom, my brothers, and my sister-in-law. Then my cousin Ethel had the rosary (used in the ceremony) (she was also a witness) Josh, Adam´s brother, was a witness as well. Then my niece carried the coins that represent that Adam will provide for the family and that i willtake good care of it, my nephew carried the rings, 2 girls with pillows to kneel on, 2 flower girls and Juan Pablo Hinckley with a rose. Finally i walked in with my dad.

13. Are you still friends with them all? Yes, as most are family.

14. Did your spouse cry during the ceremony? No, but he was sweating a lot. He said it was the heat but i think it was not the heat.

15. Most special moment of your wedding day? All of it, especially the wedding ceremony and Mass. Also after Mass we went to the Poor Clairs for a Blessing and to pray for our marriage.

16. Any funny moments? My brother wanted to show everyone how well we can dance, so he started spinning me like crazy and i had a big dress, so everyone was worried i was going to fly off, but nothing happened.

17. Any big disasters? No, just that my mom forgot the pillows for the church so my oldest brother had to go back to my parents house to pick them up.

18. Where did you go on your honeymoon? To the beach in Honduras.

19. How long were you gone? A week

20. If you were to do your wedding over, what would you change? Nothing...it was perfect.

21. What side of the bed do you sleep on? When i was pregnant i used to sleep to the side closest to the window because of the heat.

22. What size is your bed? a bouble bed, i think that´s how it´s called. (matrimonial in Sapnish)

23. Greatest strength as a couple? Definitely our Catholic faith and our desire to help others.

24. Greatest challenge as a couple? To have clear communication as we come from different cultures

25. Who literally pays the bills? Depends on who has time since here almost all mean you have to wait in line at the bank.

26. What is your song? We don't have a song, i think...

27. What did you dance your first dance to? a Waltz

28. Describe your wedding dress: First of all it was amazing because my mom made it. It was an off white satin, with pearls put together in rose shapes in the top part and all the bottom part. My veil was my train as well.

29. What kind of flowers did you have at your wedding? At the church we had 40 dozens of real white roses.

30. Are your wedding bands engraved? Yes, mine has Adam and the date inside it and his has Marcela and the date.

31. How old were you when you got married? 24!
