Tommorrow starts the medical brigade in the hospital San Benito. It is a very hectic and stressfull time for Marcela, but also very rewarding. The doctors will be here for just a week, but in that time they do an impressive amount of surgeries. I wish I could be somehow involved, but I will be busy in my own job (not all of us can be administrators of hospitals). I am sure she will post some pictures of the medical mission here the week after it is over when she actually has enough time to start breathing again.
For me, work is going well. I can´t say that being a teacher is the job I always dreamed about, but I am actually enjoying it much more than I thought I would. I guess I might have to make a career out of it. I would probably like to be more involved in mission work, but with the expenses of a family that is impossible. We will see what God provides.
This last week we had two guys from San Pedro staying in our house. They are ¨delegados de la palabra¨ whose job is to work among the poor villages that do not frequently have Mass. There was a national meeting of the delegados and the Catholics of Comayagua were asked to give up their free time and free space to make these fellow Catholics feel comfortable.
That is all the news here from Colonia San Carlos. Ciao, peace, and take care.
